Nominations were provided by coaches and are presented in alphabetical order. Voting closes at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Vail Carruthers
Hackettstown senior midfielder
Carruthers had five goals – including the 100th of her career – and three assists, seven ground balls, 11 draw controls and three caused turnovers as Hackettstown lost to Phillipsburg in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament and defeated Pope John in overtime to move to the top of the Colonial Red.
Adam DeCristofaro
Mount Olive senior midfielder
DeCristofaro became Mount Olive's all-time leader in goals and points on May 2. He totaled 13 goals, five assists and eight ground balls as the Marauders lost to Montville and West Morris, and defeated Boonton in a Morris County Tournament game.
Olivia Lombardo
Kittatinny senior midfielder
Lombardo had five goals and three assists, seven ground balls, 10 draw controls and three forced turnovers as Kittatinny split Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament games and defeated Morris Hills last week.
Tommy Martin
Randolph senior pitcher/first base
Martin allowed two hits and walked three, allowing one earned run and striking out 10 over 10 innings of Randolph's victories against Livingston and West Morris. Martin hit 5-for-10 with a walk, two runs scored and two RBI. Martin hit a walk-off single as the Rams edged the Wolfpack, 3-2, in eight innings in a Morris County Tournament quarterfinal.
Sofia Reisinger
Morris Catholic sophomore pitcher
Over 17 innings in the circle, Reisinger allowed seven hits, two walks and an earned run, striking out 27 to help Morris Catholic go 3-0 – including two Morris County Tournament wins. She batted 6-for-8 with two doubles, a triple, a home run, five runs scored and seven RBI.
Julio Tatis
Parsippany Hills senior sprinter/jumper
Tatis anchored the winning 4x200 and 4x400, second-place 4x100 and was part of the sixth-place long jump as Parsippany Hills won its first Morris County Relays small-school team title. Tatis had a 47.91-second split as the 4x400 won in a school-record 3:24.51. The 4x100 also broke the school record (42.86).
Jack Veith
Wallkill Valley senior outfielder/pitcher
Veith went 5-for-12 with three doubles, a home run, four walks, two stolen bases, a home run, four runs scored, and four RBI as Wallkill Valley went 3-1 last week.
Emily Zegler
Pequannock sophomore midfielder
Zegler totaled four goals, 14 draw controls – including the 100th of her career – two ground balls and a caused turnover as the Golden Panthers lost at Waldwick and defeated Whippany Park in double overtime.
