It's time to vote for this week's Honda Cars of Aiken Augusta-area High School Athlete of the Week.

The athletes featured in this poll represent the best on-field performers from the past week of high school sports competitions around the Augusta area. The poll will remain open until 5 p.m. Friday.

Sheppard Hunt, Greenbrier boys’ lacrosse

Hunt recorded two goals, one assist, eight ground balls and three takeaways in a 10-7 loss to Oconee County in last week’s season opener.

Arie Bacon, Greenbrier girls’ wrestling

Bacon took the top spot in the 155-pound weight class at sectionals, qualifying for the state tournament for the fourth time in her high school career. She was one of six Lady Pack wrestlers to qualify.

Jack Polhill, Evans boys’ lacrosse

Polhill recorded five goals and 23 ground balls in games against Calvary Day and Savannah Country Day last week.

Rhianna Williams, Grovetown girls’ basketball

Williams recorded 12 points and 21 rebounds in a 49-44 win over Glynn Academy last week.

Jackson Jennings, Greenbrier boys’ basketball

Jennings scored a team-high 18 points in a 55-45 win over Statesboro last week.

Bryce Reynierson, Lakeside boys’ basketball

Reynierson recorded 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists and five steals in a 56-55 win over Effingham County last week.

Kaylee Jackson, Augusta Christian girls’ basketball

Jackson recorded 24 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists in a 70-49 win over Ben Lippen last week.

Lemar Edmond, Harlem boys’ basketball

Edmond averaged 19 points per game in wins over Morgan County and Hephzibah last week.
