The athletes featured in this poll represent the best on-field performers from the past week of high school sports competitions around the Augusta area. The poll closes Friday at 5 p.m.

Young scored a team-high 32 points in an 87-85 win over Putnam County Saturday night. He also recorded 16 points in a win over Josey Friday.
Jada Kendrick, Thomson girls’ basketball
Kendrick recorded 23 points and 17 rebounds in a 60-52 win over Putnam County Saturday. She also finished Friday’s one-point loss to Josey with 19 points and seven boards.
Kobi Barnes, Lakeside girls’ basketball
Barnes recorded 10 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks in a 59-29 win over Evans Friday.
Bryce Reynierson, Lakeside boys’ basketball
Reynierson recorded 34 points and 13 rebounds in a 72-68 loss to New Hampstead Monday. He also had 10 points and six boards against Evans Friday night.
