The Holland area saw several top performances this week from high school athetes.

Chelsea Overbeek, West Ottawa soccer. Scored game-winning goal in 2-1 win over Holland Christian.

Kennedy Gustafson, Saugatuck soccer. Scored four goals to cap 9-1 win over Parchment.

Kianna Vork, Hamilton softball. Had three home runs in a doubleheader sweep over Fruitport.

Niki McNeil, Saugatuck track. Broke school record in discus with throw of 112-9.

Monika Diaz, Holland Christian tennis. Beat Holland in a super tiebreaker at No. 2 singles.

Ahava LeFebre. Holland tennis. Won the No. 1 singles showdown with Holland Christian.

Carson Turcott, Hamilton baseball. Drove in the winning run in a 7-6 walk-off win over Fruitport.

Landon Bergsma, Holland Christian golf. Shot a 1-under-par to win the Wooden Shoe Invitational, leading Maroons to fourth straight team title.
