Previous winners of the spring sports season are Houston County's Addie Horn, West Creek's Talia Brandt, Stewart County's Ema Borden, Stewart County's Faith Dacus, Houston County's Haylie Brooks, Clarksville's Madelyn South, Clarksville's Carlie Sheets and Montgomery Central's Addison Beech.

This week's nominees are listed below.

Kingsley Bell, softball, Clarksville Academy: Batted .571 with one RBI, seven runs, two extra-base hits and four stolen bases on the week. Also pitched 9.2 scoreless innings, including a complete game with eight strikeouts in a 9-0 win over Webb - Bell Buckle in the DII-A Middle Region tournament on May 2.

Ema Borden, softball, Stewart County: Went 4-for-4 with two doubles, four RBIs, two runs and a stolen base in a 9-3 win over Northwest on May 2.

Jaydah Jordan, softball, Kirkwood: Went 4-for-5 with a home run, two runs and seven RBIs in a 16-6 win at Northeast on May 1.

Ally Mitchell, softball, Houston County: Went 3-for-5 with two home runs, five RBIs and four runs in a 24-2 win at McKenzie on April 30. Was 2-for-3 with an RBI, three runs and three stolen bases in a 16-4 win over McEwen in the District 12-1A tournament on May 3.

Ja'Kyah Montgomery, track and field, Northeast: Took second in the high jump (5'0") and the triple jump (37'1.5") at the Class AAA Section 3 North meet, and also qualified for the section meet with a fifth-place finish in the 200 meters (26.44 seconds). Won a subsection title as part of the Eagles' 4x200-meter relay, which posted a time of 1:44.67.

Charis Nichols, softball, Clarksville: Pitched seven innings of two-hit ball in a 2-0 win at Jo Byrns on April 30. Went 4-for-4 with five RBIs and pitched four innings, giving up three hits, in a 15-0 win over Kirkwood in the District 13-4A tournament on May 2.

Kennedy Scott, softball, Rossview: Batted .545 with two home runs, three doubles, six RBIs, four runs and a stolen base on the week. Hit both homers in an 8-7 loss at Springfield on April 29 and had two hits in a 2-1 win over the Yellow Jackets in the District 13-4A tournament on May 2.

Emmie Underwood, track and field, Fort Campbell: Won the KHSAA Area 1 championship in the 3,200 meters, running an 11:50.89 on May 4 in Paducah. Placed third in the 1,600 meters with a season-best time of 5:27.55.
