Who should be the Clarksville-area girls high school athlete of the week for April 8-14? Here's your chance to vote.

The poll will be open until noon on Thursday.

Previous winners of the spring sports season are Houston County's Addie Horn, West Creek's Talia Brandt, Stewart County's Ema Borden, Stewart County's Faith Dacus and Houston County's Haylie Brooks.

This week's nominees are listed below.

Alexa Bertelsmann, softball, Clarksville Academy: Went 3-for-3 with a double, five RBIs and two runs scored in a 19-0 win at Mt. Juliet Christian on April 8. Had an RBI double in an 11-1 loss to Friendship Christian on April 9.

Alijanae Cole, track and field, Northeast: Won the long jump, 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash at the Robert James Warrior Invitational in Murfreesboro on April 13.

Daelynn Hodges, softball, Houston County: Pitched a one-hitter in a 14-0 win over Bowling Green (Kentucky) on April 13. Was also the winning pitcher in a 10-3 win at Harpeth on April 12. Went 4-for-8 with a triple and two RBIs for the week.

DeShae Jones, track and field, Montgomery Central: Won the discus at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic with a distance of 100 feet, nine inches.

Jaydah Jordan, softball, Kirkwood: Went 2-for-3 with four RBIs and a double in a 12-2 win over Northwest on April 8.

Jehryeia Morris, track and field, Kenwood: Tied for first in the long jump at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic on April 13 with a distance of 14 feet, seven inches.

Madelyn South, softball, Clarksville: Went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs in a 14-0 win over Northwest on April 12. Hit an RBI single in a 4-1 win over Rossview on April 8.

Emmie Underwood, track and field, Fort Campbell: Won the 3200 meters at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic with a time of 11:58.46. Placed second in the 1600 with a time of 5:36.37.

Maliyah Warren, track and field, West Creek: Won the 100-meter hurdles at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic (16.61 seconds) and placed seventh in the 100-meter dash (13.50). Also ran on the Coyotes' winning 4x100-meter relay.

Nevada Williams, track and field, Rossview: Tied with Jehryeia Morris for first place in the long jump at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic, and placed sixth in the 100-meter dash (13.48 seconds). Helped the Hawks win the 4x400-meter relay.
