  • Congrats to the Week No. 4 winner Matt Avivi from the Manalapan boys lacrosse! The junior got 80.65% of the votes.

  • Congrats to the Week No. 3 winner Sadie Honig from the Manalapan girls track and field team! The junior got 2,027 votes which was 91.80% of the total votes.

  • Congrats to the Week No. 2 winner Emily Zellman from the Southern Regional softball team! The sophomore got 1,933 votes which was 86.84% of the total votes.

  • Congrats to the Week No. 1 winner Nicole Knox from the Red Bank Catholic softball team! The junior had 3,510 votes which was 97.88% of the total votes.

This week's nominees

Jack Puma, CBA, Sr. - Boys Golf: The Colts’ senior closed his high school career by firing a 1-under-par 71 to finish sixth at the NJSIAA Boys Golf State Championship Monday, the low score among area competitors as the Colts finished second overall.

Kashish Malik, Marlboro, Jr. - Girls Golf: The Mustangs’ junior was rock-solid in posting an even-par 74 at Tuesday’s NJSIAA Girls Golf State Championship, good for a top-10 finish and the low score among Shore Conference players.

Shea Brennan, Wall, Sr. - Boys Lacrosse: He finished with two goals, four assists, eight ground balls, and won 17 face-offs out of 30 in a SCT win over Middletown South on Saturday.

Sarah Sullivan, Trinity Hall, Sr. - Girls Lacrosse: Typically a scorer, she turned into a passer when she had five assists to with two goals and three forced turnovers in a SCT first round win over Red Bank Catholic.

Jack Tiernan, St. Rose, Sr. - Baseball: He pitched a no hitter Saturday and struck out 12 batters against Ocean Township.

Kimi Sayson, Shore, Jr. - Flag Football: She had three touchdowns and two extra points against Manchester High.

Bethanne Doderer, Central, Sr. - Softball: She finished with five RBI's, two runs, and a home run in a SCT win over Raritan on Saturday.

Brent Romano, Howell, Sr. - Boys Volleyball: The outside hitter had 19 kills and eight digs in a 2-0 (22-22, 25-19) win over Elizabeth on Saturday.

Parks Cusley, Rumson-Fair Haven, Sr. - Boys Tennis: On Wednesday, he had a singles win over (6-3, 6-2) to help the Bulldogs beat Middletown North.

Julia Santos, Toms River South, Jr. - Girls Track and Field: She won the shot put finals with a mark of 41-6 at the Bill Bruno Ocean County Championships in Jackson.

Cole Isaac Cramer, Southern, Sr. - Boys Track and Field: He won the 100 meter dash finals with a time of 10.42 and 200 meter dash with a time of 21.29.
