Aiden Bryant

The Midlakes sophomore won a competition between Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester long jumpers when he went 23 feet-4 1/4 inches during the Jack Reed Showcase, an indoor track meet at Nazareth University. That is the top distance this season in Section V. He also was runner-up, the top finisher from a school in Section V, in the triple jump (43-3 1/4).

Terrez Davis

The Victor junior produced the top triple jump of the Section V boys indoor track season when he bounded out to 45 feet-4 inches during a Monroe County league meet at Nazareth University. He placed second in the high jump and also long jumped.

Elijah Diakomihalis

A junior at Hilton, he was champion of the 190-pound weight class at the Eastern States Wrestling Classic, a regional-level high school meet in Sullivan County.

Connor Hashim

The Fairport senior now has the fastest 600-meter dash of the Section V boys indoor track season, a time of 1 minute, 24.57 seconds run during a tight race at the Jack Reed Showcase hosted by Nazareth University. He was a close runner-up behind a runner from Auburn.

Matthew Ingersoll

The North Rose-Wolcott junior swimmer broke a 35-year-old school record in the 100 free Thursday.

The Edison Tech basketball star had 42 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals during a 80-68 win over McQuaid on Wednesday.
