Virginia man accused of traveling to Frederick County to meet minor for sex

Nov. 13—A Virginia man is accused of trying to have sex with a minor after he allegedly arranged a meeting with a Frederick County Sheriff's Office detective who was posing as a 14-year-old girl online.

Brian Patrick Brooks, 43, was arrested at a Frederick County park and charged with eight counts of sexual solicitation of a minor on Nov. 11.
