The trend report: Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, and more looks from Milan
Heavy, bejeweled embellishments, deep jewel tones, firey reds, woodland prints, and hoods ruled the runway at D&G. The chain mail and key prints reminded us a little of the Tory Burch collection here in NYC.
Everything at Fendi had a little bit of a sporty flair, but that didn't stop the season's iconic pink coat from making an appearance.
Gucci was all about '60s mod, and there was no shortage of fit-and-flare skirts, powder blue, or snakeskin (the animal print du jour).
At Marni, two trends reigned supreme -- feathers and turtlenecks. We'll take both, please.
The designer who dresses half of Hollywood for the red carpet put out an elegant, ladylike collection with a tailored menswear twist. We're seeing pinstripes and roomy trousers in our near future.
