Although Kim Kardashian turned a few heads when she wore a see-through blouse several months into her pregnancy with her recently-named baby, the star was definitely onto something.

Sheer was a huge trend on the spring/summer 2013 runways, on everything from skirts and dresses, to tops and accessories, and as usual, the stylish stars of Hollywood have followed suit. Kim isn't the only celeb to have caught on - we spotted Lauren Conrad, Jessica Chastain, and Rose Byrne all sporting the trend on recent red carpets.

But don't fret over too much exposed skin - this summer's sheer trend is all about a subtle hint of sexy. We'd avoid going all the way with a completely transparent skirt. Instead, try one with a sheer overlay, or a a dress with sheer cutouts.

Whether you're not sure how just exactly how to rock this trend, or you're ready to stock up on all things see-through this summer, click through the gallery to see our full report on sheer.
