The 8 Sexiest Summer Fragrances

Prada Candy L'Eau

Just because a bottle has "l'eau" stamped on it doesn't mean the fragrance inside is watered down. What it does mean is that it's fresher, zestier, and whole lot brighter. Such is the case with this citrusy, caramel-y confection, a less intense version of the original Prada Candy Eau de Parfum. Bonus: Treat yourself to a viewing of the short film directed by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola for the fragrance.Their take on a ménage à trois is beyond charming.

Lanvin Me!

What you get on first spray of this fruity-floral blend is blueberry jam. But give it a minute, and there's also a pop of black licorice, which immediately balances out that jammy-ness and makes everything a lot more ladylike.

Oscar De La Renta Something Blue

Obviously, the name conjures up images of extremely fancy brides. But if an Oscar original doesn't fit into your budget, this ultrafeminine blend of lily of the valley, mandarin, and white musk gives you a piece of that glamour.

Valentino Valentina Assoluto

A little of this seductive scent, with notes of peach, orange blossom, patchouli, and sandalwood, goes a long way. But that little makes you feel (and smell) sexier, instantly. Pair it with a vintage Halston halter dress and be prepared for some extra attention.

Joie Follie De Joie

Attention fans of Joie's ethereal, haute-hippie designs: This ultra-light scent, a mixture of rose and jasmine, was made for you. (It took a few sprays to ID what's in it—it's that subtle.) Layer on some rose or jasmine essential oil if you want to give it more depth.

Vince Camuto Fiori

"Fiori" is Italian for "flowers," but that's not what you get when you initially spray this fragrance. First there's a ton of sparkly grapefruit. But after a few minutes, it starts to smell slightly powdery—thanks to iris root—with the sheerest hint of softly sweet freesia. So there are fiori, yes, but not enough to alienate those who don't typically love floral perfumes.

Jimmy Choo Flash

From the glittery box to the flash bulb—shaped bottle and the lavender-colored juice, this fragrance is all about having a good time. Flash, appropriately, is an explosion of scents: creamy white flowers, sweet berry notes, and some soft woods. It's less sensual than Jimmy Choo's namesake first scent, but what Flash lacks in sex appeal it makes up for in joie de vivre.

Guess Girl

Because of its tulle-flowered cap, this blend of melon, sandalwood, and vanilla comes across as very, very girlie. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't take it seriously. The scent is extremely well balanced, meaning it never gets too sweet or too tart. And it has a lot of staying power—a few spritzes in the morning should last you (and smell the same) all day.

These gorgeous new scents are all but guaranteed to banish every last trace of seasonal affective disorder from your system. It's time to lighten up, sister!
