Finding beauty in nature is easy in Los Angeles-the endless greenery and topography is something out of a color-by-number picture book. You can twirl endlessly in a chiffon dress on top of a hill overlooking the ocean-but what does it all mean?

Now those gritty streets of Hollywood... that's really where I feel most at home. As a native New Yorker, there's something about the smell of the concrete that puts a little hop in my {Alaia boots} step. No one can navigate past a lagging crew of tourists or a pack of homeless youth better than this city chick. Foot traffic is my street traffic.

To play the part of city girl in this green, green world, an ode to a snapback and sequin pencil skirt lewk just felt the most like home. A true oxymoron: too street for corporate, and too party for street. Gritty and powerful, a fashion mind puzzle, the perfect icing on my couture cake.
