Street style tip of the day: Mixed patterns
The best part about having a fashion blog (other than getting to play dress up with your best friend everyday!), is being able to look back and see how your style has evolved over time. We both have pretty eclectic styles that vary based on our mood but our blog has given us a way to challenge ourselves to put outfits together in unique and interesting ways while still staying true to the looks we love. Plus it's always fun when we have a chance to shoot pictures together and these our some of our favorite looks to date!
Britt's Style
My style tends to be a bit more classic. I love wearing black and white and adding in a pop of color. This outfit is a bit on the casual side but the printed pants and graphic tee keep it interesting. I added a leather jacket as it's one of my favorite layering pieces. It can be used over casual outfits like this or added to a dressy look to make it a bit edgier. Plus it's perfect for the slightly cooler San Francisco weather!
Whit's Style
I love to experiment with my style and play with proportions. I am pretty tall so I love to play up crop tops and pencil skirt. This pencil skirt totally caught my eye with the unique print. This is definitely a more lady-like option for me. This would be perfect for work, minus the crop top. I also love adding fun accessories like statement necklace or a cute clutch to finish the look!
