One day following George's birth, Kate and William came out to present their son to the world around 7:20pm BST, glowing as new parents.
Kate looked absolutely stunning, wearing a light blue polka-dotted Jenny Packham dress.
Happy family!

Smiling for the cameras, Kate held their newborn son close.

Here's the hand-off, gentle as can be, Kate passes their son to William's waiting hands.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 3 month-old son Prince George will be christened on October 23rd, and Kensington Palace has just released more details about the day. The 45-minute ceremony will take place at 3pm on Wednesday at the chapel in St. James Palace.

The ceremony will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, and will be attended by all of the major members of the royal family. There to watch little George's first big moment (since coming into the world, that is!) will be the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince Harry and the entire Middleton family. The rest of the guest list is said to be quite short. The list of Prince George's six godparents will also be officially announced, and we're still holding out for Pippa and Harry!

Prince George's christening gown will be a replica of the satin and lace one made in 1841 for Queen Victoria's oldest daughter, Victoria.

Though Prince William, his father and the Queen were all christened at Buckingham Palace, Wills and Kate chose the small Chapel Royal for baby George. The last royal baby to be christened at St. James Palace was Princess Beatrice in December 1988. Many believe this choice was made to honor the late Princess Diana, as this chapel was where her coffin lay before her funeral in 1997. We've seen William and Kate continually pay homage to his mother over the last few years -- from the sapphire engagement ring she wore that now rests on Kate's hand, to the light blue polka dotted Jenny Packham dress Kate donned when leaving the Lindo wing with Prince George, which closely resembled the dress Diana wore when she left with William.

Official photos will be released following the ceremony, one of which will be historic. The Queen of England will be featured in a photo with three heirs to her throne, Charles, William, and George.
