Ashley Benson (also known as our favorite "it" girl on Pretty Little Liars, Hanna) is Cosmopolitan's March cover star. We knew Ashley was super down to earth when she was tweeting criticism a few months back about the amount of photoshop on the latest PLL poster, and after reading this feature, we believe it even more.

Ashley spoke candidly with the editors of Cosmo about growing up in Hollywood, her hit show, and what she hopes to do as her career progresses. When asked about the characters on Pretty Little Liars, Ashley said she typically makes fun of the wardrobe: "Really, do you think anyone would actually wear full hair and makeup and 6-inch heels to school?" Well, Hanna would! But we digress... that's definitely part of the fun of the show.

Ashley spoke about her desire to work with Woody Allen during her career. A good call, as he consistently creates incredible roles for women (see: Cate Blanchett in Blue Jasmine)! One thing we love about Ashley? She knows where she'll to draw the line, when to put her foot down. In regards to nudity, she said:

I never want to do nudity that's gratuitous. Girls look so much better in lingerie or a t-shirt and leave the rest up to the imagination. I make it clear that I have a line. Everyone tries to push you, and it's easy to get talked into doing those things. I'll just walk off-set. But not everyone realizes they can do that.
