This magnificent SoHo loft will take your breath away

The first step inside this SoHo loft was like discovering an empty jewelry box - it's breathtaking on its own, but even more exciting to fill up with beautiful things. This magnificent, ex-factory space boasted fourteen-foot ceilings, corinthian columns and cascading windows. Our clients, Marissa and her fiancé, work in fashion and finance so we wanted to create the balanced space that both would love to live in.
Bright white lofts can often feel cold, so step one was to cozy things up without compromising the amazing natural light. We structured with oversized furniture - creating areas without building walls - a patchwork rug added intricate texture to the family room and soft silk-wool blended rug let the living room feel luxe. The neutral color scheme was enhanced with tons of white-on-white accessories like a large whitewashed bookcase filled with only white books. To top it off, an antique chandelier was the perfect adornment to this jewelry box home.
