Whether you're channeling the Moschino version from the runway or the good ol' fashioned Mattel plastic toy, if you're dressing up as Barbie, you gotta go pink. Pull anything from your closet that has a bubblegum hue, then finish off your look with a some glitter heels. Don't have any? Pick up a super cheap pair of pumps and glitter 'em up yourself!

Blair Waldorf, the iconic character from the hit series Gossip Girl, taught us all that a prep school ensemble can actually be chic. If you ever went to a private school, this costume idea is even easier for you. Nab your plaid skirt, white button-down (extra points if it's ruffled or has a neck tie), and any kind of closed-toe pump or heel, and you're good to go. Feel free to add jewelry as needed for your own unique take on Blair, but don't forget her statement headband.

Everyone always associates Audrey Hepburn's character from Breakfast at Tiffany's with the little black dress, but we love this iconic outfit from the film. Go into your dad's closet and come out with one of his white dress shirts that you can fashion as a nightshirt. Finish it off with a pair of slides and a sleep mask—if you don't have a cute one like this, you can always jazz up that Air France version you got on your semester abroad.

First things first: Make sure your trench is long enough to wear as a dress, and wear something underneath just in case. Then, add a pair of nude heels and a black driver's cap. When you walk into your Halloween party, everyone will think you're Kate Moss, promise.

Every character in Wes Anderson's The Royal Tenenbaums is worth dressing up as, but our personal favorite was Margot. Her uniform was a polo shirt dress (Lacoste, if you're counting), flat loafers, and an oversized tan fur coat. If you don't have a polo dress, go for a T-shirt dress or just wear a polo shirt with a skirt. As for the coat, dig into your mom's or grandma's closet for that one. The final and most important aspects for the look are Margot's signature hair clip and some serious black eyeliner.
