One day following George's birth, Kate and William came out to present their son to the world around 7:20pm BST, glowing as new parents.
Kate looked absolutely stunning, wearing a light blue polka-dotted Jenny Packham dress.
Happy family!

Next week is Prince George's christening, and as his parents are breaking tradition for where it'll be held -- at a small chapel inside of St. James Palace rather than at Buckingham Palace -- it's no surprise that they're breaking tradition with the big announcement that'll be made on that day. William and Kate have reportedly chosen college and childhood friends, not royals, as the first three godparents for little George.

Royals traditionally have six godparents (we know, crazy!) so we're still holding out for Pippa and Prince Harry as the next to be announced, but many are surprised by the three we already know. Fergus Boyd, William's good college friend and roommate of both Wills and Kate while at St. Andrews, Emilia d'Erlanger, Kate's Marlborough College friend who apparently introduced the Duke and Duchess, and Hugh van Cutsem, a childhood friend of William's are the first to be chose, according to the Sunday Times.

The guest list for Prince George's christening is already pretty small -- just 60 people -- and interestingly omits the Princess Royal and Countess of Wessex. With friends taking precedence over royals in George's life so far, it's a stark contrast to William's christening and godparents in 1982. Prince William's godparents included esteemed royals such as King Constantine of Greece and Princess Alexandra, but we're hearing rumors that no royals or Middletons will take the role for George. We'd be surprised if Kate and William's siblings were actually left off the list, but the final six names is yet to be determined.
