How to see New York City in your PJs

The Bowery Hotel lobby has two huge fireplaces and comfortable couches to spend hours reading in.

Great for discovering one of a kind artisans.

The food, the staff, the decor and the uniforms make this place magical.

Dashwood books has one of a kind photo books. Both old and new. They also self publish otherwise unknown photographers.

MOMA is great because the PJ's don't get a second look from the art patrons. Also great to take instagrams of the pj prints in front of the Mondrian paintings.

Other music - again for new music or rare vinyl finds.  We also just like seeing album cover art.

Classic old school NYC haunt for those who know.

Only a block from the office to sneak away in the afternoon a catch a good indie film.

The best glasses at the best price with an amazingly helpful crew.

New York City is full of fun and exciting activities. However, most -- certainly not all -- require shoes, a shirt, and definitely a pair of pants.

There is one major exception! Pajamas.

Sleepy Jones is a collection of loungewear created by our StyleList guest editors Anthony Sperduti and Andy Spade. The line was inspired by the lifestyles of artists like David Hockney, Pablo Picasso, and Jean Seberg, who all loved to spend some serious time in their PJs.

We asked Anthony and Andy to tell us their favorite places to visit in New York City while in their PJs and their list ranges from cool cafes to museums. Click the gallery above to see all nine.
