Get Kate Hudson's glowy skin and intense smoky eye
According to Inglessis, a makeup look "always starts with the dress." Kate's dress for the Clear History premiere was an edgy and structured Balmain creation. "I wanted to give her a rock and roll meets feminine look to reflect both the dress and Kate's feminine and strong personality," Inglessis said. OK, we're listening!
"With a bold, smoky eye everything else has to be simple, so I wanted her face to look fresh and dewy with beautiful sun kissed cheekbones. I then focused on her eyes and built a deep smoky look by continuously blending the eyeliner, primer and shadow," Inglessis said. Then, she used a few coats of mascara, and topped everything with a nude lip, to "really draw attention to the eyes."
All the products used on Kate were Almay or Revlon, including Almay Smart Shade CC Cream Complexion Corrector, Almay Smart Shade Bronzer, Almay Intense i-Color Smoky i-Kit for green eyes, Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious Mascara, and Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm in Rosy Lipped.
