Bobbi Brown's backstage makeup secrets
Since her early days as a freelance makeup artist, Bobbi Brown has been a fixture backstage at NYFW and now London Fashion Week. Backstage, she is able to translate the visions of renowned designers such as Rachel Roy, Tibi, Elie Tahari and L'Wren Scott into makeup looks that are modern, but always fresh and pretty. "I love Fashion Week because it's a chance to collaborate creatively with someone who has a definitive point of view," Bobbi says.
For New York Fashion Week's Fall/Winter 2014 shows last month, Bobbi utilized a few of her newest products to make the latest beauty trends pop on the runway. Below are a few of her favorite looks she worked on last NYFW.
"I think fashion and beauty go hand-in-hand -- they're both a way to express your personality and style," says Bobbi.
For a lip color that stands out and stays put, Bobbi relies on her new Art Sticks. They're a "lipstick meets liner for the greatest multi-tasking lip around".
Bobbi's new CC Cream color corrects, illuminates and protects in one easy step -- perfect for doing backstage makeup in a hurry, or for everyday life on-the-go.
CORAL & ORANGE
These shades are turning out to be the hottest for the spring season, so it's no surprise Bobbi reached for her brand new Nectar & Nude collection for Fashion Week. A soft cheek, nude eye and flattering nectar lip -- so pretty!
