Singer Beyonce Knowles has always been a very private person, but in the new HBO documentary titled, "Beyonce: Life is But a Dream," the new mom opens her doors and shows her fans a completely different side of her.

If the preview is any indicator of what is to come in the 90 minute film, nothing is off the table. The singer discusses being a mother, the pressure of success and her future intimately with the camera. The film looks back at Beyonce's roots, growing up in Houston and her life in the spotlight since.

We have seen plenty of the Queen B recently. From her show-stopping performance at the Superbowl to making the cover of Vogue's "Power" issue, 2013 is turning out to be the year of Beyonce. We love watching her perform (mainly for the incredible fashion) and we can't wait to see Beyonce's wardrobe throughout the film.

In honor of this momentous premiere, we take a look back at the best of Beyonce's hair. The transformation from the early 2000's to now is remarkable! CLICK THROUGH THE GALLERY ABOVE.

Tune in to watch "Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream" on HBO, Saturday at 9PM EST.
