The American Hustle star looked gorgeous and vintage glam in a belted Antonio Berardi gown.
Oh Abigail Breslin, we wish you'd have ditched the bolero jacket. This Chagourey look was just too matronly for someone her age.
Just a few months after giving birth, the Homeland star absolutely stunned in Monique Lhuillier.
Claire Danes sparkled in Vionnet.
We loved this edgy Badgley Mischka gown on the 30 Rock actress.
This printed Badgley Mischka was a little too distracting, as was the excessive cleavage.
We really want to like this Givenchy creation, but the saccharine pink sequins are swaying us in the other direction.
Adorable! Kerry nailed maternity style in a custom Prada, proving you can still look just as cute (if not cuter) while pregnant.
The Downton Abbey star always manages to look sophisticated on the red carpet, and this J.Mendel number proved no different.
Yikes! We're not sure what's going on with Julia Roberts this season, but this Valentino jumpsuit was another fashion fail in our book.
Maybe we're biased (we do love Jennifer Lawrence), but this Dior creation was a little cooler than most looks on the red carpet.
The embellishments on this Donna Karan down are pretty, but the heavy, ornate necklace pushes it over the top.
This turquoise Gucci dress looked stunning on Lupita.
Did Mariah go back in time and raid our college wardrobe? Because this dress is erring on the side of frat party chic.
Such a pretty Lanvin dress, but this color is just a little to Christmas-y for the red carpet.
Hannah Simone's Marchesa gown looked ethereal and gorgeous -- the pale blue color was a perfect complement to her skin tone.
Jennifer Garner looked gorgeous in MaxMara, but the overall look was a bit of a snoozefest. More jewels, please!
We thought Emilia looked stunning in this custom Calvin Klein Collection design (apparently, so did Jared Leto).
We love Julie Bowen and we love Carolina Herrera, but this look was a miss -- the print is just too distracting.
This Marchesa gown was, as all Marchesa gowns are, feminine and elegant, but this look was a little too washed-out and boring.
The Modern Family actress looked pretty and sophisticated in Pamella Roland.
We're all for lace, really. But there's just too much fabric going on with Mayim's dress -- we wish it was one or the other -- full skirt or lace sleeves.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards is one of the clear favorite shows for everyone in attendance. Yes, the Oscars are... the Oscars, but in every speech of the night, the actors seem just so enthralled to have eve been nominated by their peers (let alone awarded). It's surely a love-filled night.

We love it too, because it's just one more excuse to see our favorite actors sparkle on the red carpet. The greats, the veterans, the newcomers -- they all come together to celebrate one another! This year's SAG red carpet saw dresses from Dior, Monique Lhuillier, Gucci, Givenchy... so yes, they're as impressive as you think they will be.

Unfortunately, there were a few misses as well -- but it wouldn't be an awards show without them! Click through the gallery above to see the best and worst dressed at the 2014 SAG Awards.
