Lamborghini's most popular model, the Urus SUV, is getting electrified with the arrival of the 2025 Urus SE. The SE adds a 189-hp electric motor to the eight-speed transmission, generating a combined output of 789 horsepower in conjunction with the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8.
The 2025 Urus SE marks the high-performance SUV's first venture into the world of plug-in hybrids.
It fits a 189-hp electric motor between the combustion engine and the transmission.
Combined output with the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 churns out 789 ponies, rocketing the Urus SE to 60 mph in a claimed 3.4 seconds.
The SE should feature an electric-only range of just over 30 miles thanks to a modest battery under the floor.
The top speed in electric mode is just under 81 mph, though with the V-8 roaring, the SE can speed to 194 miles per hour.
A 12.3-inch screen mounted to the center of the dash features Lamborghini's newest software.
There's also a new hood and redesigned LED matrix headlights at the front of the car. According to Lamborghini, the changes take after the those on the Revuelto sports car.
Changes to the rear of the car include a new spoiler and diffuser, which increase rear downforce by 30 percent.
In addition to the mechanical changes, Lamborghini added two new paint colors for the 2025 Urus, with the total number of color options exceeding 100.
We expect pricing for the SE to be roughly $275,000, situating it similarly to the performance-focused Urus Performante.
