After taking a break for 2023, the Nightshade edition has returned to the Toyota Corolla lineup for 2024. The Nightshade was first introduced for the 2020 model year.
The Nightshade model, based on the SE trim, will be offered on both the hatchback and sedan body styles.
The Nightshade edition will also be available with the Corolla's optional hybrid powertrain, and iy will come with either front- or all-wheel drive.
The main differentiator for the Nightshade edition is blacked-out trim, including the grille, rear diffuser, and side-view mirrors.
The Nightshade sedan bears a small rear lip spoiler, while the hatchback receives a more dramatic rear wing.
Contrasting with the monotone exterior design are bronze 18-inch wheels.
The hatchback can also be had with two-tone paint jobs, with the black roof paired with Windchill Pearl or Classic Silver Metallic.
The interior remains unchanged, although Toyota will offer two packages that upgrade the sound system and add a wireless charger.
Pricing isn't available yet, but we expect the Nightshade edition to cost around $2000 more than the respective SE trim levels.
This would put the Nightshade sedan around $25,000 and the Nightshade hatchback around $27,000.
More details should come before the 2024 Nightshade edition reaches dealership lots this fall.
