A pilot of a small airplane had to make an emergency landing early this morning on Lake Shore Drive. 51-year-old John Pedersen, of Lombard who walked away uninjured, had been flying his two-seater plane over downtown Chicago when a stabilizing part broke loose, causing the aircraft to shake violently.
