UCLA Water Polo Player Arrested On Rape Charges

UCLA police arrested a water polo player for allegedly raping a female student inside an on-campus residence hall. Hakop Jack Kaplanyan, 18, a red shirt freshman who plays the attacker position on the team, is out on $200,000 bail. UCLA officials said Kaplanyan “has been suspended from the university, subject to an appeal.”
