The Duchess of Cambridge visited the National Portrait Gallery on Wednesday (April 24) in London. The Duchess, also known as Kate, is patron of the Art Room at the gallery, a charity which works with children and uses art to raise their self-esteem and independence. The event, which had an audience of 250 school children, artists and supporters of the Art Room, marked the charity's 11th anniversary and launched a new fundraising campaign.
