Swarms of jellyfish filled waters of the Balaclava bay near the Ukrainian Black Sea on Wednesday (January 2) covering the water’s surface with a thick layer of the creatures. Many locals said they have never seen such a plague before and for some it has even disturbed their traditional hobbies Fishermen who work at the piers were reportedly quite happy with the plague, because the sea bass which hunts jellyfish followed their prey to Balaclava bay.
