A 27-year-old Queens woman who jumped in front of an “R” train a dozen years ago–when she was just 14–told PIX 11 the incident has been killing her chances of finding a full-time job, because public records of the subway leap keep coming up in background checks. She’s now suing the city for 7 million dollars. Yasmin Rahman spoke at length with PIX about the pain in her chaotic home life that drove her to take drastic action.
