Study Discovers Bees Can Fly at Altitudes Higher Than Mt. Everest

A new study has found that alpine bumblebees living in China can fly at altitudes higher than Mount Everest. Most insects and birds can’t fly that high above sea level because the air is too thin for their wings to generate a lifting force.
