SoCal Elementary School Evacuated Following Bomb Threat

An elementary school in Glendale was evacuated on Monday morning due to a bomb threat. An anonymous call about a bomb on campus was made to R.D. White Elementary School around 8:55 a.m., according to Glendale police Sgt. Tom Lorenz. School officials immediately notified police about the threat and began evacuating students. The school’s 880 students have been moved to the parking lot of a nearby Whole Foods at Lexington Drive and Glendale Avenue.
