NYPD: Wounded Suspect Opened Fire On Police First

Two plainclothes NYPD police officers shot a man after he fired at them in Brooklyn, authorities told PIX11 News. The two officers approached the 20-year-old near Grafton and Livonia St. in Brownsville suspecting he had a gun, police said. The man then opened fire, and cops fired back, police said. The perp was taken to Brookdale Hospital in serious condition, but he is suspected to survive.
