NRA Chief Calls For Armed Police in Every U.S. School

National Rifle Association Chief Executive Wayne LaPierre said on Friday (December 21) that what is needed to protect U.S. school children is a plan of protection, including guns in schools. At a news conference in Washington, the head of the lobby group, which opposes tighter controls on guns, called on Congress to "put armed police officers in every single school in this nation."
