Lawsuit Claims Soccer Player Beaten, Sexually Abused During Hazing

The parents of a freshman at Maine West High School in Des Plaines are suing the school district over an alleged hazing incident. The lawsuit claims a 14-year-old member of the boys soccer team was beaten and sexually assaulted back in September. The teen and his family are not named in the lawsuit, but his mother spoke to the media on Monday. She says she was speaking out so that no other students will have to go through the hazing again.
