A judge in Utah reportedly offered a reduced sentence to a 13-year-old girl if her mother chopped off her ponytail in court. District Juvenile Judge Scott Johansen had originally sentenced Kaytlen Lopan to a youth detention center, community service and a fine, after she was admitted to cutting the hair of a three year old and harassing another teen.
