The mayor of Buenos Aires welcomed the International Olympic Committee to the Argentine capital on Monday (September 2) where the host of the 2020 Olympic Games will be announced later this week. The race between the three cities hoping to land the 2020 summer Games is expected to go down to the wire after two years of campaigning by Istanbul, Madrid and Tokyo. Buenos Aires Mayor Mauricio Macri welcomed IOC President Jacques Rogge and donned him a "guest of honor" to Argentina's largest city.
