Grand Central Terminal is one of the greatest icons of New York City. This stunning landmark turned 100 years old on Friday, February 1st, 2013. In 1913 the first set of keys was handed over to the new station’s manager with much fanfare. At midnight, the ticket booths opened up and at 12:25 A.M., the first train headed out to Albany. Now, 100 years later, the city is celebrating all that Grand Central has given to New York City.
