Donations Flood In To Help Sick Teen Fly Home

Maddie Ross lives with spina bifida and cerebral palsy. She became seriously ill with pneumonia while her family was vacationing in Florida. A medical flight program offered to fly Maddie home if the family could raise the $10,000 needed to pay for fuel. The family said after Maddie’s story aired on WXIN-TV, the donations flooded in.
