The Daily Digit is 155,000. That's how many more payroll jobs outside the farming sector came about in December, according to the U.S. Labor Department. It was in line with analysts' expectations and slightly below the revised gain of 161,000 reported for November. New jobs popped-up across the economy from manufacturing to construction to health care, in a sign the labor market continues to recover from the recession that ended in 2009.
