A group of Washington based organizations will soon submit a final proposal to the Federal Aviation Administration to research and test unmanned aircraft at a facility in central Washington. If approved, the Pacific Northwest Unmanned Aerial Systems Flight Center will be one of six testing facilities in the United States. The proposal identifies several locations in central and western Washington where testing may happen.
