Cardinal Francis George to Undergo 4 Months of Chemo

Cardinal Francis George will begin chemotherapy next week, to battle the cancer cells found in his liver and kidney. Doctors at the Mayo Clinic and Loyola University Medical Center are recommending the treatments. They will take four months. The cardinal says he plans to maintain his regular work schedule although is public appearances will be reduced to allow him to recuperate This is the second time the 75-year-old cardinal is facing cancer. He fought bladder cancer six years ago.
