Cab Driver Fights For Life After Shooting

A 33-year-old livery cab driver is in critical but stable condition at Lincoln Hospital after he was shot in the Bronx while trying to solicit fare with a few potential passengers. Marco Viegas pulled over at the intersection of 137th Street and Cypress Avenue after a group of men hailed his livery cab. After the group refused the ride, one man pulled out a gun and shot Viegas in the chest.
