Briton Sentenced to Death For Drug Smuggling

Covering her face from the media, Briton Lindsay Sandiford faces her sentencing on drug charges. An Indonesian court on Tuesday condemned her to death for smuggling more than 2.5 million U.S. dollars worth of cocaine. The 56-year-old was found guilty of hiding 4.8 kg of the drug in her suitcase lining on a flight from Thailand to Bali in May. Her lawyer said they will likely appeal the penalty.
