Families gathered inside the Manhattan offices of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office on June 21 to protest against President Donald Trump’s ‘zero-tolerance’ immigration policy.On June 20, after facing mounting pressure, Trump signed an executive order to end the policy of separating children from parents attempting to cross the US-Mexico border illegally. Parents awaiting prosecution for immigration violations will now be held with their children in federal custody.
