Girl With Cancer Becomes Honorary Texas Ranger

A six-year-old girl who is battling cancer became an honorary Texas Ranger on Monday, February 25, and rode a horse around the Texas State Capitol building.Abigail Arias, who was previously sworn in as an honorary police officer with the Freeport Police Department on February 7, was given a tour of a Texas Highway Patrol cruiser and the opportunity to ride a horse around the State Capitol campus.Footage shared to the Texas Department of Public Safety shows Arias being led around the State Capitol grounds by a fellow Texas Ranger.
