Video Emerges Of Urban Meyer’s Comment On Alabama
During a press conference earlier this week, Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio revealed what Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer had to say when they first met last Sunday.
Fangio told reporters that Meyer compared an NFL schedule to going up against Alabama every week at the collegiate level.
“This is the NFL,” Fangio said. “I don’t know Urban Meyer at all, really. I met him the other day, shook his hand before and after the game. His comment to me was that every week is like playing Alabama in the NFL. Everyone is capable of beating everyone in this league.”
Some fans weren’t sure if Meyer actually made that comment about Alabama this past weekend. Any doubts about Meyer’s honest admission were put to rest on Wednesday, though, as video of Meyer making that remark emerged on social media.
“Lot of good players in this league, man,” Meyer told Fangio. “It’s Alabama every week.”

Meyer has already learned there are no easy opponents in the NFL. That’s why no team should ever be dismissed regardless of its record.
The Jaguars currently own an 0-2 record, dropping their first two games to the Broncos and Texans. We’ll see if Meyer can get his first NFL win this Sunday against the Cardinals.
