They're back!

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is making its big return to the runway this fall — and two of the brand's most famous faces brought the news to Instagram on Aug. 28.

Tyra Banks — an Angel who walked in nine shows during her tenure with the brand — and Gigi Hadid (who has walked in three shows, plus the Tour last year) took to Instagram to announce that Victoria's Secret's famed show would be returning to New York on Oct. 15.

As Hadid struts into a hotel lobby, Banks greets her with a show invite in hand, wearing a logo shirt and jacket advertising this year's show. Hadid is understandably starstruck at the top model's appearance in front of her. Banks hands her her own invitation before she turns and walks away — but not before Hadid tells her she loves her.

The video was captioned, "Sorry, couldn’t write a caption, we were too busy picking up our jaws off the floor at @tyrabanks and @gigihadid delivering VSFS invites. You understand" and was set to the tune of Chappell Roan's "Femininomenon."

Banks commented, "What we really need is a femininomenon!"

The brand previously announced that models Imaan Hammam, Candice Swanepoel, Grace Elizabeth, Devyn Garcia, Paloma Elsesser, Taylor Hill and Mayowa Nicholas would be walking in this year's show.

Victoria's Secret announced in May that the runway should would be happening this fall. “We’ve read the comments and heard you,” an Instagram caption read. “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is ✨ BACK ✨ and will reflect who we are today, plus everything you know and love—the glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment, and more! Stay tuned…it only gets more iconic from here. 🪽”

In a statement shared with people, a Victoria’s Secret brand representative said that the 2024 show would be more inclusive than in past years.

“The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will deliver precisely what our customers have been asking for — the glamour, runway, fashion, fun, wings, entertainment — all through a powerful, modern lens reflecting who we are today,” the rep said. “We're thrilled to share a women-led articulation of this iconic property later this year!”

After being canceled in 2019, Victoria's Secret returned with The Tour in 2023. The spectacle was a streamed nontraditional show, filmed in Barcelona; Lagos, Nigeria; Bogotá, Colombia; London; and Tokyo and aired on Prime Video. While it wasn't what you'd expect from a runway show with the models walking back and forth down the catwalk, the show still featured models — including some familiar faces like Adriana Lima and Hadid — modeling Victoria's Secret styles.

Gone were the wings of years past — which is what the brand had become known for. The models were called Angels, after all.

However, the show and the brand came under fire in 2019, which is when the runway was canceled. After being slammed for not being inclusive enough, Victoria's Secret rebranded in recent years, dropping the Angels and launching the VS Collective.

This new initiative focused more on celebrating women and pushing for more diversity and inclusivity in its marketing, branding and clothing options.

The new Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is another step toward the new future for the brand.
