Victoria’s Secret to open first new store in Fresno in years. Here’s where and when
Victoria’s Secret is planning to open a new store — its first in years — in Fresno.
The popular lingerie and underwear seller will open a location in the Marketplace at El Paseo, the shopping center near Herndon Avenue and Highway 99, the retailer confirmed Monday.
It will take over the space where the home decor store Kirkland’s was, a few doors down from Target. Kirkland’s closed that store in 2020.
The Victoria’s Secret store is scheduled to open in late summer, according a company representative.
The business has already filed paperwork with the City of Fresno to remodel the space and add shelving.
It will be the third Victoria’s Secret store in the Fresno area. Fashion Fair mall and River Park have locations also.
The Victoria’s Secret at Sierra Vista Mall in Clovis has closed.
The brand is known for its sexy lingerie, but also sells basics such as bras and panties. Its PINK brand aimed at younger women and selling underwear and sleepwear is especially popular.
